Hoseq - Hocketing with a sequencer
Hoseq ables you to perform complex and generative hocketing with up to 8 instruments.
You will be able to make a single melody shared between a number of voices, in a lot of ways.
If you want it for free, there is this version that is the same but bad bad bad bad you won't like it <3Simple set-up for three instruments:
Hoseq Send:
- Create a MIDI track
- Drop a Hoseq send on this track
- Sequence how you want the sequencer :
Each note played on this track will be sent to the Hoseq receive specified in the sequencer (1 to 8). So for three instruments, the easier is to use only 1 , 2 and 3 as voices destinations.
Hoseq Receive:
- Create three MIDI tracks for your instruments
- On each instrument track, set up one of your fabulous instrument (vst or external hardware!)
- On each of those tracks, drop a Hoseq Receive device
- For the first one, select 1 with the sequencer
- For the second one, select 2.
- You get it, third one, 3!
Now, play a note on the Send MIDI track: this note should be played by the selected instruments. Play again, another! Now, you are free to experiment with arpeggios and more complex voice sequencing. Enjoy!
